Paleo Challenge Wrapping Up….What Now?

As the Paleo Challenge wraps up, alot of you have been asking, “What do we do now?”. My advice would be to listen to your body. If you have felt great results from the past 6 weeks, I think it would make the most sense to maintain some type of discipline with your nutrition. Don't undo all the work you put in by going on a 2 week bender filled with Happy Meals and Yoo-Hoo…

Robb Wolf has a great article on life after Paleo, click HERE to read it!

For those of you that don't feel as if you saw any improvements with your energy levels or had any increases in performance, you may have not been as “strict” as you think you were. If this is the expereince you had, shoot me an email and let's talk about it so we can see what we can tweak to get you feeling the improvements you should be while on Paleo.

The most common progression after people have been strict paleo for 4-6 weeks has been for them to maintain their paleo lifestyle during the week and loosen up a little on the weekends. Maintaining a 80-90% paleo lifestyle will be a huge improvement in your overall quality of life, at least in my opinion. Some people slowly introduce non-paleo foods back into their diet to see how their body reacts to them. Examples of these would be Greek Yogurt and some missed dairy products. Your body will tell you very quickly if that is a bad idea. Great work to all that completed the challenge and we have already seen some amazing results with post paleo measurements.
