Alright guys, we are approaching the Paleo Challenge and I wanted to put a blog post out to answer any and all questions that can come up.
When is the Paleo Challenge?
Monday, January 13th – Monday, February 24th
How Do I Sign-Up?
All you have to do is get measured and Laura will charge the accounts of those that have measurement sheets on the 15th of January. The cost is $25 for singles or $40 for couples (must have couples membership).
*If you haven’t participated in one of our previous Paleo Challenges, you are required to attend one of our Paleo Seminars. The dates of the seminars are:
Thursday, January 9th @ 7p
or
Saturday, January 11th @ 6pm
*It is held in the childcare room, no childcare will be provided for these seminars.
When Can I Get Measurements and Pictures?
Measurements and pictures can be taken Monday the 13th or Tuesday the 14th during all our class times. There are no make-up days for these measurements so please try and make one of the workouts on those two days in order to get this taken care of. If you are out of town during these two days, send an email to Jess@crossfitvitality.com and we can find a time that works for you to come in.
Is There A Baseline Workout?
Yes. The Baseline workout will also be completed Monday the 13th or Tuesday the 14th during all of our class times. Again, try your best to make one of those days. If you are out of town, we can schedule a make-up for you.
How Do I Win?
The winners will be chosen based on improvements on Baseline and/or Measurements as well as changes in the before/after pics.
Why Should I Do The Paleo Challenge?
There are a number of reasons why but I think the best reason is for your family. A cleaner diet will lead to a healthier, higher quality of life. What if nutrition actually does play a role in your quality of life? You invest a ton of time and effort into your fitness, take this 6 week challenge and see the incredible difference fixing nutrition can have on your life.
Also, if you decide not to do it because you just CAN’T give up ….(put whatever your vice is in here) then I think you may have an unhealthy addiction to that food/beverage. If you are willing to sacrifice your health in order to continue consuming your guilty pleasure….bigger problems will be heading your way. It’s 6 weeks folks….take on this challenge and see if you can stay disciplined for 6 weeks. If you don’t feel better at the end of it, never do it again. That simple. In 4 years, NOT ONE person has EVER finished the challenge and said they DIDN’T feel better.
