The below are some details and thoughts on the upcoming Paleo Challenge from Jess.
Hey guys, we are not even through the holiday month of December yet and all I’ve been hearing at the gym is how bad people are feeling because of the traditional food, drinks, lack of sleep and stress that come along with this time of year. These conversations get me even more excited for our Paleo Challenge because I’ve felt this same way in past Decembers and I feel SO much better now that I am following a Paleo Diet! I can’t wait to share this information and experience with all of you!
So if you are not feeling your best and want to make a positive change, please start mentally preparing yourself now for six weeks of eliminating dairy, grains, added sugar and processed foods from your diet. Six weeks is really such a short period of time in the grand scheme of things. You owe it to yourself and your family to make this commitment and focus on your health!
If your goal is to lose body fat, Paleo is the answer
If you goal is to gain lean muscle mass, Paleo is the answer
If your goal is to prevent diabetes and heart disease, Paleo is the answer
If your goal is to improve your FRAN time and increase your CrossFit Total, Paleo is the answer
If your goal is to have more energy and stop craving junk food, Paleo is the answer!
Our Paleo Information Seminars will be:

The seminar is a great refresher for any of you who have participated in previous challenges, and is mandatory for anyone who hasn’t done a challenge with us yet.
In the meantime, there will be a table set up when you enter the gym with lots of Paleo informational booklets. Please feel free to take one home, look over the information, and come to the seminars with any questions you may have.
As always, there will be one male and one female challenge winner, but this year in addition to the typical prizes (Vitality gift basket and one month free membership), Chris Grouse from Fire Fold is donating a 42 inch flat screen TV to each winner. So there is even more incentive this year to join the challenge.
