We are just over 2-weeks away from the first week of the Open kicking off. Many of you have questions about how this process will work. There was a great article that walks the dog for you on every aspect of The Open, from registration to submitting your scores.

There are lots of reasons that people will come up with to not do the Open….Here are a few and why I think they stink.
1. I can’t make it to all the Friday Night Lights workouts
*No worries, it will be the WOD in every group class each Friday and we will have a make-up day for those that are out of town on Friday.
2. Too expensive.
*Don’t even get me started on this one. It’s 20 bucks and will give you access to a worldwide leaderboard of how you stack up by age/sex/region, etc.
3. I don’t have DU’s or Pullups or ?
*There is a scaled division for the first time ever. This will alleviate you from doing some of the higher skill movements usually associated with The Open.
Those are the top 3 and they are all pretty weak in my opinion. Step outside your comfort zone and be a part of this 5-week journey with the rest of your Vitality peers. Don’t take yourself too seriously and just have some fun. At the end of the day, that is what 99.9% of competitors are doing the Open for, to have fun. Don’t miss out!
