Hey guys, as we enter the holiday season, I’m hearing many of you talk at the gym about how badly you are feeling because of the traditional food, drinks, lack of sleep and stress that come along with this time of year. Please try to remember the true meaning of the holidays and keep in mind that they do not have to be centered on sugar, alcohol and overindulging. Keep up your CrossFit routine and moderate your sweets and alcohol and you will go into the New Year feeling as if you don’t have to start from scratch on your health and fitness journey. In January we will be kicking off our annual Paleo Challenge. The Paleo Diet is a whole foods diet that is low in sugar and eliminates grains and dairy products. Whether you have done a Paleo Challenge with us in the past or you are new to the whole concept, we encourage you to join in and make the commitment to your health in the New Year.
So if you want to make this positive lifestyle change, please start mentally preparing yourself now for six weeks of eliminating dairy, grains, added sugar and processed foods from your diet. Six weeks is really such a short period of time in the grand scheme of things. You owe it to yourself and your family to make this commitment and focus on your health!

If your goal is to prevent diabetes and heart disease, Paleo is the answer
If your goal is to improve your FRAN time and increase your CrossFit Total, Paleo is the answer

The seminar is a great refresher for any of you who have participated in previous challenges, and is mandatory for anyone who hasn’t done a challenge with us yet.
