I think we all fall into the trap of making excuses at times. We see people do amazing things and immediately come up with a reason why WE can't do those things. The reality is, the only difference between them and us is they have made a choice to be great. Whatever it is that we decide to do, we can't be afraid of being great. We have to accept the pain and suffering that goes into being great and realize that the road to this isn't one that is traveled very often because it is a road of long hours and hard work. Self preservation will kick in and lead us to belive that we are not cut out for whatever it is we want to do….that is just your body talking you out of it because it knows what it is about to be put through if your mind decides to make the decision to travel down this dark, lonely path to becoming great. Often times you will be alone during this journey because there aren't many people out there that are willing to put themselves through what it takes to come out on the other side. Just make sure when you reach the end of your road, you don't look back and wish you would have taken a different path. Regrets are something that can haunt you for a lifetime, you don't want that. I saw this old Jordan commercial and it made me think of this.
