Kim has been with us for nearly 6 years here at Vitality. Over those 6 years, I can count on one hand how many times I haven’t coached her. When she first came to Vitality, I am pretty sure she thought we were all insane and that she would run as far away from this place as she could get after her first month was up. However, a few weeks in, I think she was a little surprised, not only by how much she was enjoying it but also how good she was at it. It took me a few years to figure out It took her a few years to figure out how I was wired and that I was going to constantly push her so that she could realize how strong and amazing she is:) There have been some tears (from me of course) throughout the years but I think any coach who has had an athlete for that long, it isn’t always going to be rainbows and unicorns. If you don’t have some bumps along the way, then you aren’t a Coach, you are a cheerleader.

It’s certainly been amazing to watch the progress that has taken place and to watch her run circles around athletes that are half her age.
Kim continues to be a huge part of this community and I will continue to push her and squeeze every bit of potential out of her, all the way up to her 100th birthday!
